~Character~
~Name: Ksoyo (no last name)
~Gender: Female
~Age: 23
~Weight*: (I don't know, 128?)
~Height*: 5'
~Group: Witches
~Subgroup (If a townie, what town, if a colleger what college, if a
witch what clan, etc.): Akane'azar
~Appearance: Short, very muscular for a woman. Broad shoulders, long legs, broad feet, short torso, long arms, long-fingered hands.
~~Ksoyo always wears her witches necklace. (like the charmed one's symbol, a black Triquestra on a red rectangular background on a golden chain.) She made it herself as it includes all three of her colors in their degrees: Red (3x) Black (2x) Gold (1x).
~~Her long red hair is bound in a single plait that has two black thongs and a gold thong interwoven within her braid. It is bound by those three cords which hang a foot longer than the end of her hair, which comes down to mid-calf.
~~Her eyes are also red--a rare sight among witches, and any humans--under winged eyebrows that are arched. The eyes are slanted upward, as in an oriental look. She has an ovular face with skin stretched out on hight cheekbones. Her nose is long, thin, and pointed up. Ksoyo has full naturally red lips over a pointed chin.
~~She wears the witches' robe. Ksoyo stole a pure white robe from her clan by her d?mon, Shogasake after her Trial. The robe, she died red from a special paint she made from the blood of Tamarran after he died, and some red plants. It is dark red with black and gold markings painted onto the robe. The black was taken from the panther's blood who killed Tamarram. (It's blood turned black from the hatred of the witches from the clan Akane'azar when they spelled the panther.) And the gold, she took from a yellow tree, pure water from a holy spring, and made to paste which she painted on her robe. Washed and dried, her robe looked beautiful with the colors holding fast.
~Personality: Ksoyo is a very angry woman. But she hides that anger behind nice words and smiles. She has contempt for those who like to be evil to others.
~~When it comes to defending her life, property, d?mon, or someone she loves, however, you will not find a more skilled fighter. A fighter that uses both her body, weapons, and magic.
~~Since the death of Tammaran Shinato, her boyfriend, she has never wanted for the love of another. And so she is held somewhat cold and reserved though she smiles often.
~~Her anger had much abated when the animals accepted her again. She still was angry at her clan, and at her parents, though she could have empathy for them. Now, Ksoyo can get along pretty will with her animal friends, though her people skills need work.
~Abilities: As a witch, Ksoyo has mastered all the spells her age-group through the ages has been able to master. And, through her use of having Shogasake spying on the witches Counsel, she has learned more advanced spells, such as shape-shifting.
~History: She was born in the witch clan of Akane'azar, but was exiled with her parents because of her red eyes. Change, ah. Her parents would not leave the child to fend for herself, but though they went with her, they abandoned her when she was five and able to fend for herself.
~~There, she learned how to interact with the animals--communicate by hand motions, grunts, a word--but never in a complete sentence. She learned how to defend herself as she studied their interactions.
~~At the time of Trial, her parents, unbeknown to her, sent her a message to go to the heart of the forest. There, she found a male companion that tested her strength, cunning, wit, knowledge. He also taught her about the witches. And after the Trial, he showed her the witches' symbol that she had seen her mother wear. He encouraged her to make her own. They became friends as he continued to teach her; and he became sort of her boyfriend. His name was Tamarram Shinato.
~~But, alas, all good things come to an end. He was attacked by a panther that was under a spell to kill her--sent by the Counsel of the tribe she was hardly a part of. She tried to save Tamarram's life, but failed. After his death, she killed the Panther who would never be rid of the spell unless Ksoyo herself was dead or killed by the panther.
~~After the panther was killed, Ksoyo felt herself torn away from the life she knew--the animals had somewhat turned from her.
~~So she went to confront the witches that had so hated her. That meeting went pleasantly. The other outcast her, telling her she could keep her witches' robe and symbol, but just don't bother them anymore.
~~And so Ksoyo wanders, not knowing any home but her d?mon, Shogasake. She is sometimes referred to as The Wanderer by the witches and animals when they don't want to use her name.
~~One day, she was given a chance to prove herself to the animals of the forest where she killed the Panther. There was another animal sent to kill her--this time a leopard. Ksoyo had learned somewhat--using Shogasake to spy on the inner Counsel of the witches of her clan--of their devious spells worked against her.
~~She uttered a simple word--shaoshayant--and the leopard was turned back to sticks and stones, and earth and water. The animals realized that the human female had not murdered the previous "animal" sent to kill her. The begged her pardon. Ksoyo forgave them, and now uses them as a spy network in which she hears about things that might or might not interest her and the animals.
~~She heard of a chance meeting between a male witch and a human female. 'Better go see what's up. It might concern me. She bade the animals, a badger and a bird, a fare-thee-well, and made her way to the village nearby.
~d?mon~
~Name: Shogasake.
~Gender (Normally the opposite of your gender):(A rare case): Female
~Personality: A protector to Ksoyo, and an observer. He is as restless as Ksoyo is angry. She has to watch out for Ksoyo, or she would be harmed as she cares would get herself into trouble with her sarcasm of nice words.
~~It is Shogasake's job to be patient with the one she teaches. Sometimes, though, she thinks Ksoyo will never learn. 'Perhaps when she has more experience with the humans' good side,' she thinks often when Ksoyo just doesn't see.
~Settled/Unsettled: Unsettled.
~Appearance (If settled, its final form. If not, the forms it most usually takes): Shogosake's usual appearance--when there is no danger--is a small red cat with red eyes, and more black than gold markings.
~~Her appearance when Ksoyo is in danger, is that same red cat with red eyes, and more black than gold markings--except much larger.
~~When scouting, she is usually a falcon--a little larger than their usual size.
~~But whatever shape she takes, she will always be mainly red, with red eyes, and more black than gold markings.
